Sometimes you get lucky when you see something and say to yourself, “I need to get a photo of this!”. Typically, you fetch your camera and by the time you’re all set and ready to snap off a few frames, the subject has moved or changed and the moment is lost.

For these shots I knew if I wasn’t too loud and crazy, then I’d be able to have the time to capture the moment. Kate was tired that afternoon and decided to try out Pepper as a pillow. By the looks of things, she made a fine pillow at that!
