2011.04.10 New York City Rebecca wanted to go to New York City for her eighth birthday. We thought it sounded like a good idea and more interesting than some other options. Of course, she wanted to make sure we could stop in the American Girl store while we were there. We did, but we [...] We’ve had quite a bit of snow this winter. Most of it came with just a few storms, like the last one we just had. Not to let all that good snow go to waste, I spent a lot of time with the kids in the backyard making all sorts of paths, rooms and snow [...] Alex and I went up on Thursday night to tackle the kitchen so it’d be working and safe for the kids who would be joining just a short day and a half later.
